A true Canadian company, Dawn Canadian Labels Inc was established in 1986 in Markham, Ontario by Mr. Niraj Lal. An Indian immigrant Mr. Lal was a tax lawyer by profession with a passion for Sales. Shortlty after arriving in Canada, he identified the need for quality pressure-sensitive labels and folded cartons within the food manufacturing, pharamceutical, and health & beauty aid sectors. Within two years of operations, the company’s revenue crossed $1 Mn anually, and we moved to a larger 30,000 sq ft facility to cater to the increasing demand. Dawn Canadian Labels had a team of 60 employees, 6 flexographic presses and 1 offset press.
With the changing packaging landscape and increasing demand for flexible packaging, Total Pac & Design was established in 2000 as a separate entity by the same management. Given that the scope of the company was always to provide wholistic packaging solutions to it’s customers, the name Total Pac seemed appropriate! In 2005 Dawn Canadian Labels Inc was completely integrated with Total Pac and we have continued doing business as Total Pac & Design ever since.
